1 Mukhi Rudraksha from Shiva Bankali
In the farmer's words
1 Mukhi Sawar Rudrakshya is a rare form of Rudraksha traditionally associated with Lord Shiva. “Sawar” (often called Gaurishankar/Sawar in different markets) can refer to a Rudraksha with a distinctive natural formation attached to or growing with another bead, so the exact form should be identified carefully. Traditional beliefs & significance: * 🔱 Associated with Lord Shiva and spiritual awareness * 🧘 Believed to support meditation, concentration, and inner peace * 🌿 Traditionally used for spiritual growth and self-discipline * 💫 Considered a rare and valuable Rudraksha when the formation is naturally occurring * 🙏 Commonly worn or kept for puja and meditation How to identify an authentic piece: * Natural mukhi lines should be clearly visible and continuous. * The unusual “Sawar” formation should be naturally joined, not artificially glued or altered. * Laboratory testing/X-ray or CT examination can provide stronger authentication than visual inspection alone.
Who grew this bead
Listed by Shiva Bankali, in the Arun and Tamur valleys of eastern Nepal. They picked it, photographed it and set its price. We check the bead in Kathmandu, answer your questions, take the payment and ship it — and the farmer is paid directly, rather than through the middleman who would otherwise take most of it.
What the 1 Mukhi means in tradition
Lord Shiva himself
The one-faced Rudraksha is the crown of the entire tradition. The Shiva Purana names it first and highest: the bead of Shiva himself, of pure undivided consciousness. A true round Nepali Ek Mukhi is so rare that most that circulate are counterfeit — which is why this bead, above all others, must never be bought without verification.
Tradition associates it with the Sun and with the dissolution of the ego's claims — the wearer is turned, the texts say, toward moksha, toward the one behind the many. It is regarded less as an ornament than as a lifetime companion for renunciate-hearted practice, often kept in worship rather than worn daily.
Traditional associations as the texts and living practice hand them down — not medical claims, and not promised outcomes.
Listed by the grower. Mukhi count, size and weight are as they recorded them — we check every bead in Kathmandu before it ships, and will tell you plainly if anything differs.
