14 Mukhi Rudraksha from Anand thapa
Who grew this bead
Listed by Anand thapa of Sankhwasawa, in the Arun and Tamur valleys of eastern Nepal. They picked it, photographed it and set its price. We check the bead in Kathmandu, answer your questions, take the payment and ship it — and the farmer is paid directly, rather than through the middleman who would otherwise take most of it.
Anand thapa has been growing rudraksha for 10 years.
What the 14 Mukhi means in tradition
Devmani — "the jewel of the gods"; Hanuman; the third eye
The fourteen-faced Rudraksha is called Devmani, the jewel of the gods, and the tradition places it at the brow — the seat of the ajna, the third eye. It is held to sharpen intuition: the knowing that arrives before reasoning.
Worn also against the heaviest passages of Saturn, it is among the most revered and most counterfeited beads in the entire canon. A genuine Nepali Chaudah Mukhi is a serious acquisition, and verification is not optional.
Traditional associations as the texts and living practice hand them down — not medical claims, and not promised outcomes.
Listed by the grower. Mukhi count, size and weight are as they recorded them — we check every bead in Kathmandu before it ships, and will tell you plainly if anything differs.
